I have been overweight since grade school. I decided to have my surgery in Mexico because my husbands insurance has a weight loss exclusion. I had my surgery on August 6th 2004 and have to say it was a very positive experience. I had better care in Mexico than I have ever had in my local hospital. Dr. Aguirre is the best explains everything very well until he is sure that you understand. His daughter Rosella is the sweetest kindest person you could ever meet. She was always willing to answer all my questions, send any info I needed or send any paperwork I needed. If you have any questions I will gladly answer all that I can (just e-mail me).
I have lost around 98 pounds and would do it again in a heartbeat. I have a much more active life than I ever have. I would like to lose about 30 more pounds but if I don't lose another pound I will be satisfied just because I feel so much better and can do so much more.
