Debbie, I love your Koalas :) I drew strength and confidence about the hospital in Mexico from the other nurses and med student whose profiles I read. If the patients who are in the medical profession don't come back reporting inadequacies, I'm satisfied. The language barrier isn't so bad - I was always able to communicate my needs. I think sweet kiki has a nice sheet with english/spanish translations you could ask her to email you. Don't forget to weigh and measure yourself before you go, and take some pretty before pictures because you'll want to show them off to the non-believers once you've lost the weight and are fabulous!

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery and your new lifetime journey on the losing side. Right now you are probably on a rollercoaster emotionally - excited, nervous, scared.... This is normal - don't let it freak you out. Take the time over the next few days and 'center' yourself mentally - focus your mind on other things and keep yourself physically busy too. You will find that your big day will be here in no time and you will be calm and ready for it. We will be here ready to welcome you over to the losing side and support you in your journey. Good luck and hope everything goes well for you. Sarah G LapRNY 6/22/04 295/268/150
