It has been a long time since I have posted. I have been busy since my surgery. I am able to do so much more than I was ever able to do. My diabetes is gone according to my family Dr. I have gained some weight back about 25 lbs but am still very happy I had surgery. It truly has changed my life.

I have been so bad about updating my profile but I guess with the new profiles it really doesn't matter. I have not lost any weight for about 10 months but I'm okay with that because as my husband always reminds me before surgery I was about 100 pounds heavier. I have really not done well with my eating since we had a house fire about 6 months after my surgery. I was really thrown off my routine and just can't seem to get back to it. I have never dumped and tend to eat to many carbs which I am trying very hard not to do. I'm not sure about the new profile setups I guess it will take a little getting used to. I do hope to retype my surgery journey soon but I have a much busier life than I had before. I do have to say the only thing I have had a problem with is low blood sugars. I had problems with diabetes before surgery but now my blood sugars have dropped as low as 39 but usually run around 65 to 95 which are still very low for me.
