Suzy C. - thanks for posting: "The weight loss is just the journey. *Staying put* at goal, and knowing you have the tool to do it now, is the truly important thing." This too is my focus, at age 62 it's all about maintenance; I don't have time for another weight loss and weight gain. I hope I have my priorities straight now, and I thank you for putting it so well. I'm so thrilled to have the opportunity for WLS surgery! "Smooth Sailing" on your upcoming surgery and recovery. (((hugs))) "Nana" Sharon

I am sending my best wishes to you on your upcoming surgery. I hope all goes well and that you have a problem free recovery. My husband and I BOTH had wls in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 280 lbs so far, we both have about 50 more to go. It will work for you if you work with it.

Suzy, I am wishing you a safe, complication-free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my Open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having had done this several years ago. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you begin your healthy new life.
