I am 54 years old. My health issues were compounding and i got scared. I am Queen of Denial. I can help take care of others in my life but couldn’t see the forest through the trees when it came to me and my health. I decided to have the VSG. Best gift i have ever given myself. I have a long way to go still but I feel better. I am off a lot of meds already and can actually see a healthier future for myself. And my journey seems to be having a positive impact on my husband as well. He is losing weight too. I am hopeful for our future as we age.....
