John P. Stratis

"I want to say up front I heard nothing but wonderful things about this dr, so I made the appointment happen...got referrals (etc) I got there and they go into this whole marketing ploy with you...sit and watch the video about the surgeries and then we take photos (oh- but our camera is broken so you'll have to come back later for that) then, the Dr comes into the room...BOY OH BOY his bedside manner was not very favorable or gentle. Anyways he tells me about all the wonderful ways they can help fix my problem areas, but tells me the best way your insurance wont even think about paying for but its your choice which procedure to do. So basicly, he leaves me with the nurse to review pictures...then she starts telling me they can do my breasts too...they do reductions with lift that insurance sometimes covers...HELLO>>>??? I have B's WTF is there to reduce...Anyways- thats how well they looked me over. Then she gives me this packet of information and tells me to come back for my pictures and they will start the process of trying to get insurance approval. I get home and read the information and it flat out says he wont do the surgeries for what the insurance companies are willing to pay and that patients have to private pay and then they send the insurance money to you toward your out of pocket costs...So needless to say- I do not have an extra 10-15,000 laying around to work with this doctor..No matter if he's an artist or not. I feel cheated- wish they would have told me that up front I would not have even had the appointment and wasted my time (& dignity) or his. Lesson learned!"

Water Sensations

"This is a much more affordable way then propel water. I do not like flavor waters in general because they tend to taste like watered down Kool Aid, but this has a good flavor- it's actually flavor not just a hint of something. Good way to get water in."

Community General Osteopathic Hospital

"I am not a good patient..but with that in mind...I feel most of the staff is very good at their job..but the became very task oriented vs friendly with a mission. I even had one ask me why I had WLS insteead of just knocking off a few pounds!?! (good intentions-bad question)"

Scot Currie

"My first impression of Dr. Currie was very positive. He actually made eye contact, and didnt give you that look, you know the one. The one where the doctors looks at you like here is another heavy person with an excuse or you should be ashamed. The staff are very pleasant and help to make you feel comfortable. Dr Currie and the staff stresses the process of WLS and the importance of "aftercare". He was very willing to answer any questions, and gave a very detailed support group chat on complications of surgery. Can not wait for surgery, feel Dr. Currie is A+++. (Have seen the joy in other "patients" that Dr Currie has set free.)"
