Thanks for the encouragement! I am doing quite well - maintaining at 142 pounds for over 6 months now - in sizes 10 mostly. How are YOU doing? Hope you are hanging in there? I'm excited for you! It really is a new beginning...don't let the enemy discourage you! As far as after surgery, make sure you have a wire mesh strainer for the liquid phase of the diet, so you can have liquid yogurt or cream of 'whatever' soups without the little bits in them. Sugar free popsicles are great, too. I found out that I could only handle 2-3 swallows of water at a time...don't get dehydrated! Be happy and remember how blessed you are! ann h.
