Tonia has made it well. She is up and around. Doctor says everything went just as planned. She is still just as fiesty as before. Now she is on the other side and a new life will begin for her. She should be coming home Friday or Saturday if all goes as planned. Respitory is going weel pain level is about at 4 with 10 being worst THAT'S GREAT!!!Walking well doing all to be expected.

Hi Tonia, Oh my gosh, I feel so bad that I didn't get to post to your page until just before your surgery. I just got your note, as I've been on vacation for a week (spring break ~ yeah!). Well 2 days to go until the 22nd. My surgery is scheduled for 3pm. I don't have to be at the hospital until 1:30pm. That somewhat bummed me out for a minute. I wanted to wake up and get it over with. I will be a bundle of nerves by the time noon comes. Then again on the bright side I have more time that I really needed to handle my business since I am working up to the day before. I am just very glad to have finally got to this point. God is GOOD.

WELL I FOUND OUT TODAY THAT I HAVE TO BE AT THE HOSPITAL AT 1:30PM ON TUESDAY. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE TIME. I WANTED TO BE THE FIRST ONE. SO THAT I COULD JUST GET IT OVER WITH. I WILL PROBABLY BE A BUNDLE OF NERVES BY THE TIME I GET TO THE HOSPITAL. I AM SO EXCITED TO HAVE THIS OPPORTUNITY. WHEN I THINK OF HOW I HAD JUST GIVEN UP ON LIFE AND EVER BEING HAPPY WITH MYSELF THAT MAKES ME EVEN MORE ESTATIC. I AM FINALLY GOING TO GET THIS WEIGHT OFF ME. UNBELIEVABLE. I PRAY TO THE GOOD LORD ABOVE TO GET ME THROUGH THIS PERFECTLY FINE. MY KIDS NEED ME. "IF GOD BRINGS YOU TO IT HE SHALL SEE YOU THROUGH IT".I DO HAVE FAITH OR ELSE I WOULDNT BE DOING THIS. IF I HEAR ONE MORE TIME THAT I DO NOT LOOK BIG ENOUGH TO HAVE THE SURGERY I WILL SCREAM. MY QUESTION TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY ARE GIVING ME A COMPLIMENT IS... HOW BIG DO I HAVE TO BE BEFORE YOU WILL THINK I NEED SURGERY? LET THEM CARRY AROUND 123 LBS. OF ADDED POUNDAGE. THAT IS A WHOLE OTHER PERSON. PEOPLE ARE A TRIP !!! I WILL JUST BE GLAD WHEN I GET TO THE LOSING SIDE. THIS HAS BEEN ONE LONG JOURNEY TO GET TO THIS POINT. AND YOU KNOW WHAT? I FEEL EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON. I AM DETERMINED TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PURPOSE WAS FOR ME TO BE OVERWEIGHT ALL THOSE YEARS. I WILL PROBABLY BE EMPLOYED DOING SOMETHING RELATED TO THIS SURGERY WITHIN THE NEXT SEVERAL YEARS. I AM THINKING ABOUT GOING BACK TO SCHOOL FOR A NURSING DEGREE. MAYBE I WILL BECOME AN O.R. NURSE AND ASSIST OTHERS IN THIS BATTLE TO GET TO THE LOSING SIDE. WELL THIS HAS TURNED INTO A BOOK SO I BETTER END FOR NOW AND GO CHECK OUT MY FRIENDS IN THE CHAT ROOM. THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL WHO POST TO THIS PAGE AND THOSE WHO JUST STOP BY.
