I hope your time passes as quickly as mine did. I too had to pay cash for my surgery, but it's over and I feel it was the best thing I could have bought myself. Good Luck Debbie! Hope you feel the same way after your surgery....

Debbie, thank you so much for your kind words. I know that the Lord is with me and will be with me during and after my surgery. I'm sorry you have had some problems leading up to your surgery, but God has a reason for everything, so just keep going and know that it's His will. I'll keep you in my prayers and hope that you will do the same for me.

Good for you for standing up to ignorant doctors and insurance dorks! =) Sorry to hear that you have to take matters into your own hands all the way to Mexico, though. I wish it was as easy for everyone as it was for me. The military system is really great (this part of it anyway!) Good luck, you'll do great!

Debbie - I wanted to offer congratulations on releasing yourself from the nicotine trap!!! Your strength and determination are commendable. I wish you would have had your surgery sooner - but I am really glad you'll be having it with Dr. A. He's great and you're going to do spectacular, considering your strengths. Debbie, Thank you so much for stopping by my page and sending me some encouragement. I am so glad that there are people like you here, so we can support each other. I just read your profile and first let me give you a hug (((((((((((Debbie)))))))))) for the crap that you have been through. How dare other people be so ignorant and non-caring, I don't know whether to scream or cry. It is such a prejudiced world and i think that other people feel like they are better because we dont' fit their self described image and they do. And because there is this attitude agency's even think they have the right to deny us because of this acceptable form of discrimination. And now I want to say CONGRATULATIONS!!! Girl, you never gave up and you are getting what you want and need. When there is a will there definitely is a way. You are such an inspiration. I only have 14days and a wake-up and your time is ticking down also. I can't wait until we are on the losing side, and I pray that this form of discrimination will be eradicated.
