May you always have an Angel by your side, Watching out for you in all the things you do; Reminding you to keep believing in brighter days, Finding ways for your wishes and dreams to come true; Giving you hope that is as certain as the sun, Giving you the strength of serenity as your guide, May you always have love and comfort and courage. May you always have an Angel by your side, Someone there to catch you if you fall; Encouraging your dreams, Inspiring your happiness, Holding your hand and helping you through it all. In all of our days, our lives are always changing; Tears come along as well as smiles. Along the roads you travel, May the miles be a thousand times more lovely than lonely; May they give you gifts that never, ever end; Someone wonderful to love And a dear friend in whom you can confide. May you have rainbows after every storm, May you have hopes to keep you safe and warm, And may you always have an Angel by your side.

BIG UPDATE - Since being denied on 1 Oct 03, we have new insurance with Aetna on 1 Nov 03. I haven't been on the boards offering support since then because it was so painful for me, but now I'm over that. I'm back!!! On 3 Nov I called to ask about the surgery and was told 26-week medically supervised diet is required. Dr's office sent my letter anyway and on 6 Nov they called and told me I was approved!!! My surgery date is 15 Dec 03. Thank you all for all your prayers and kind words. All the support I've received has made me strong. I am so thankful to God for hearing all those prayers. For those of you who are just starting that journey, never give up. Again, thank you all so much - I can't stop smiling and I've been doing my happy dance since the 6th!!!! Love you all and I'll continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Diane Bower aka DI from NJ

Diane, All I can tell you is not to give up the fight. I have seen people come from amazing odds to receive an approval. You will be victorious if you stay focused and keep persuing your dreams. I will be praying for your appeal and your approval. I will be praying for your surgery and your recovery. Best wishes to you as you stand your ground and fight for your rights. Peace and blessings.
