Thank you so much for you wonderful words and advice. I got your message a just the right time. I am having all those feelings and more I think that I can not even tell are there...lol I had just dropped my daughter off at my best friends house and my heart just hit the floor when I went to say good night. I won't see her for 3 days and that just sucks. I have a picture to take with me and gramme will have her call when I am up too it. I just get like that when ever I am away from her. I almost had a nervous breakdown when we went to Vegas and left her home. I know she is in good hands. There just not mine, if you know what i mean. Thank you again for the wonderful words. I will be back here as soon as I am up to being on the computer again and will update. :)

Diane: Thank you for the encouraging words. I visited your website and I enjoyed reading it. May have my wife Roberta read it since it has some really good advice. It's only two days off and I'm nervous about the whole thing. The waiting seems to be the tough part. Again, thanks for the email. Ron

Diane Thank you for your words of welcome. I am just beginning my WLS experience. I belong to Kaiser and just had a referral. I am at 40.5 bmi, Gerd, type II diabetes (just diagnosed) and will be tested for sleep apnea in the next couple weeks. I would really appreciate any help I can get from this website. Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. My surgery (open DS) was a success! I'm still having problems keeping anything down, but I am losing weight. Best of luck.... PS - What happened to Momma Angel? I never found out. Thanks.

Hi Diane, Congrats on making this journey & never giving up! I am here to thank you for you support for my upcoming surgery, and your encouraging words were very much needed! I have only 3 1/2 days left until the surgery, and I get a little more nervous each day, but it's expected. I finished most of my necessary shopping tonight and hope to have a stress free weekend to relax and just get my thoughts together. I am having my "last supper" tomorrow with my family. I just keep thinking..."is this really happening"? Take care...Cath

Diane, Thank you for your support, for the longest time i thought i was out here by myself. I am really scared, nervous, i have anixety, but then i can't wait to the 26th. I am so glad i am not alone. THank you for your prayers it really means a lot. i can't wait to be on the losing side. Lesa
