Dear Jeanne, My surgery was done by Dr. Weinstein in the same group with Dr. Lane. They are great doctors and I know you are in good hands. Please post when everything is ready again for surgery. Trust God. He knows everything and your surgery will be here again. I have lost 106 pounds. Hang in there!!! Love, Gena

WELL, I WAS ALMOST THERE!! I TRIED, SO FAR I HAVE CRIED A LITTLE, LAUGHED A LITTLE AT "MY LUCK", BUT YOU KNOW, IF THE HAD NOT CAUGHT THIS WITH THE UPPER GI, THE SURGERY COULD HAVE BEEN FATAL. MY WORD OF THE DAY IS DIVERTICULUM, THAT IS WHAT THE NURSE SAID I HAVE, FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND THEY ARE RARE IN THE STOMACH, THEY ARE USUALLY FOUND IN THE INTESTINES AND COLON. SHE WOULD NOT GIVE ME MUCH INFO, JUST MADE THE APPOINTMENT WITH DR.ORLEANS FOR FRIDAY, THEY ARE WORKING ME IN, SO MY QUESTION IS, BECAUSE IT IT SERIOUS, OR BECAUSE THEY WANT ME TO GET WELL SO I CAN HAVE THE SURGERY?? MY MAIN REASON FOR POSTING TONITE WAS TO THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR THOUGHTFULNESS, WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT AND DON'T WORRY, I AM DETERMINED TO BE A "POSTIE" ASAP, LOL I JUST CAN NOT GET TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE POSTED ON MY SITE. Jeanne - I am so sorry to hear about your cancelation. But at least you know that they are paying attention to what is best for you. In no time you will be on the other side for good. Keep your chin up!
