Hi all. I am home from my surgery. I had some minor complications that made my stay a little longer. I had LAP RNY, although I have 11 entry points and two "wounds" that look like they considered putting a trocar through but changed there minds. My abdomen looks and feels like a battle zone, but I know that will keep getting better. The trouble was due to the arrangement and adhesions I had from a spleenectomy years ago. The good news is, I am home, and all systems are funtional. I am not hungry at all. It is difficult to get enough protein and liquids. So that and healing are my biggest challenges right now. But I am going to hang in there. Thanks to everyone for all your support.

Gina, Hi wls buddy. It's five days out for us. How are you feeling? No so good myself, but I guess that's normal. I was hoping to see a post as to how you did after surgery. Let me know you are okay kiddo. All my best. Paula

Hi Gina, God Bless you on your upcoming surgery. May all your dreams come true and may you be the healthy, happy person you wish to be! Just remember to take as many short walks as you can and sip your water. When you're up to it, please write me about the "silicone sheets" for keloids. I'm definitely a "keloider" and can use some help. I've tried the Mederma to no avail. Again, God Bless; you'll be in my prayers. Your sis in WLS
