I have my first consult tomarrow, I have already had my sleep study and I am now on the CPAP machine. I am having a little trouble getting use to it though. Take care.

Hi Everyone, I just want to THANK everyone who helped me with getting the right Meds for my sore skin caused by my apron. I go to my primary Dr tomorrow and will report and get another med for it. It's not completely gone yet. And yes the over the counter meds did work. It did get alot of the soreness out. So thanks everyone who e-mailed me.

Hi Nadine: I am sheryl in NM.I have a very large apron too and I found that Gold Bond medicated powder has helped me I am now 360 lbs from453 at surgery and 516 in Feb. last year preparing for surgery.I am looking to having my tt and hernia repair in May or June. I cant wait. I have had this ball and chain hanging in with me since 3 years ago and it hampers my activity level and my doing some house work. I have been disabled from my 29th birthday and now I am 45 years old and am more active than I have been in atleast 10 years. I hope this helps you. Sheryl

Nadine, Great to hear you are doing so well! You may still have a while to wait before you sleep on your stomach again, but you can use some pillows to prop yourself up to one side. It helped me. Again, happy to hear you are doing so well. I finally went back to work today. Still a bit worn out, but it is a desk job so I'll be ok. Take care!

Happy New Year Nadine! I glad your doing better and glad to hear nothing serious was going on. Since we had surgery on the same date, I wonder if you are having some of the problems I am having will eating solid food. Nothing taste as it use too. I use to love fried chicken, in fact that called me Chicken Cheryl my work buddies, but I can't tolerate it now. In fact there is not much meat I can handle. Roast chicken breast in small pieces is okay and shrimp, but dark meat chicken or turkey I want to throw up. I haven't tried much else. My favorite grits is barely able to stay down. I'm loosing weight but my love of some foods I loosing also. Oh well enough of this. Take care of yourself and keep in touch.

Hi, everyone I'm sorry to have worried everyone. Things were ok. nothing that was serious.They wouldn't let me out because of nauseation (sp) I couldn't keep nothing down. GO TO MY PROFILE IT'S A STORY BEHIND THAT. LOL anyhow I'm ok. Surgery was a little longer then it was suposse to be. because of adhedsives from other operations. other than that surgery was A ok. I will start to exercise soon as the DR take these staples out and tube. Eating is a problem still but I'll get this right also. SLEEPPing Was a problem in the hospital and out. But lately I have been sleeping alnight without waking. YESSSSSSSSS. Other than that, I'm ready to go forward. God is Good. God Bless you all, and speedy recovery to you.

Praise the Lord! Nadine, so glad to check your site to see you are home. You had me a little concern about you but I took it to Him in prayer and look where He has brought you. Take care and do all that the doctors tell you to do. God is Good all the time!

Welcome Back!! Glad to see you made it through. I was getting worried. Let us know your story when you are up to it. I hope everything is going well now.
