Hi everyone, I HAVE ANOTHER DATE. They had a cancellation. So I took it. It is now. (DRUM ROLL) 12/06/02 Yes three days away. Can you believe this? I'm so happy to get this wls going. PRAY FOR ME THAT I DO WELL. Take care everyone Hugs

Dear Nadine, I'm so excited for you. I am 4 months post op from open RNY. I have lost 82 of the 180 pounds I need to lose. My life is soooo much better already. Do not let anyone tell you that this surgery is the easy way out. This surgery is a life saving intervention to you. No different than someone who might need open heart surgery to save their life. People just don't understand, nor do they get the proper information on WLS. The media certainly doesn't help. Anyway, keep up your spirit and excitement, it will be so worth it. Your surgery will go well and a year form Jan 2003, you will be a thin healthy beautiful woman. God Bless and take care. I will be watching for your updates.

11-30-02--God Bless You Nadine, I really enjoyed reading your profile. You go ahead and just stay positive and keep yourself motivated. Remember No Weapon Formed Against You Shall Prosper and that is in everything that you set out to do you will accomplish it according to the Word of God keep negativity away from you. I decided not tell anyone also about my WLS and I believe my date is a few days away from yours. Hold your head up!! and yes GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME AND ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD!!! God's Promises are yes and AMEN!!! All things are working together for the good of them that love the Lord. Nadine...Okay, girl...you got me going here!! I thought when I saw your post....hey...44 days is so close...wonder how close I am....and I'm only 47 days!! WOW>....thanks for sharing your joy...it spread!!! LOL Good luck on your surgery!!!! God watch over and protect you, and keep you in His divine loving care!!
