Jolinda, first, I wanted to tell you thanks for the posting on my page. I need as much encouragement and support as I can get. I have to hide from everyone but husband and brother. This site is my outlet and support. People like you make me feel better about myself and my choice. Second, I read your profile, and TOTALLY understand how you feel. I went to my PCP for a physical and darn if the scale was not off by 23 pounds. I thought I was going to faint. Tammy, my FAVORITE nurse of all times, told me that the clinic needs to have the scale fixed. She has always known how to make me feel better. But, with the Lord's support, I am going to the straight and narrow and will be standing lighter and healthier.

Hi Jolinda, Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers. I really needed to hear them. I only have 6 days to go before my life changes and I'm scared and excited at the same time. I know God is watching over me and I pray that you will get approved soon. My advice is to stay focused and keep on the insurance company. My PCP wasn't a big fan of WLS either, but she did help me by writing a letter and even called me once I got approved to wish me luck. Keep the faith. Take Care, Jennifer

Jolinda--best of luck as you work towards surgery. My PCP wasn't a fan of the surgery either. Just keep pushing and change doctors if you need to. Thanks so much for your comments on my site. HOw sweet it was of you to to take time to encourage me. It was great to read the comments---so supportive! Thanks
