No Angela, not everything that is sent to you in E-mail comes from through your surgery page.. and Thank Goodness!! some of the convo's with the friends I have made are not for public viewing! Anything I feel is real private I take the person's e-mail address and write them seperately, not through this page. Hugs and prayers

I could'nt help but smile as I read your post. I quit smoking on Aug 16th and today is 13 days for me. Really is hard, isnt it? I just keep telling myself that I have NO choice. I want to be able to breath once I wake up from surgery! So do you!I didnt use the patch at all. I went cold turkey from day one. I smoked 3 packs a day Menthol for 27 years....back in Dec on the 5th I quit the menthol and started smoking 2 packs a week instead of 3 packs a day. I was smoking 2 packs a week for 8 months and stopped cold turkey on the 16th. Good Luck Sweetie and best of luck to you

You can do this Angela...the devil is defeated..just keep saying that when ever you want to light up..I prayed for us both today and Jesus is going to give us strength. MAy GOd be with you and if you need anythin at all just drop me a line and I'll be right there for you!!!

Hello Angela~~~I quit smoking in 1984 so I don't remember but I wanted to wish you well on your quitting smoking. Your post made me laugh, especially the part about you wanted it last night and he was tired! TOO FUNNY! From reading posts from others quitting smoking I think your emotions are very common. You can do it. God be with you. PEACE
