Lavonne, I got your e-mail. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I''m glad your surgery went well. I'll be praying for your quick recovery. Your story is such an inspiration to me.

I just talked to Ken, Lavonne's hubby.. he made it through his test with the doctor finding one polyp.. now he waits for the biopsy results.. Lavonne is feeling some better.. she got rid of the foley catheter and the n/g tube and is now wearing her own nightie.. Ken said she had been up and walking some.. Hope to hear more later today .. Keep sending those wishes to her.. Love and hugs,

Hello Everyone - I just left the hospital and Lavonne is not doing too hot this morning. She has a bad headache and did not sleep well last night. Also Ken is down getting his colonoscopy done - so that has probably added to her apprehension. She looks kind of pae this morning but I will go back this evening after work. Hopefully she will be feeling better. Please keep her in all of you prayers as well as her wonderful husband Ken.

Hi..it's me again.. slapping on those angel wings.. had to call my girl, Lavonne and check in on her before I go to bed tonight.. she was sleeping peacefully.. using that morphine pump.. Ken, her dear hubby, bless his heart is doing a prep for his colonoscopy tomorrow and staying right beside her bed.. He did tell me that Lavonne walked from the gurney in the hall to her bed right from recovery and about halfway around the nurse's station earlier in the afternoon.. what a great gal and determined.. We knew she could do it!!!! Way to go Lavonne.. Prayers for you and Ken.. tonight and tomorrow and each day until you are better.. Love and hugs,
