Bonnie, As a person that is having WLS six days after you I asked myself what whould I want to hear this close to my surgery. I would want to hear that I am being prayed for and that my decision is the right one. I pray that your recovery will be fast and beyond your hopes. I ask that God watch over you and bring your through safely to the other side. Walk, cough and breathe deep as you being your new life. You are making the right choice to make a new life for yourself. God Bless you.

Bonnie!!!! I am so thrilled for you that your time is so near! I KNOW you will do great! I am so happy that I was an inspiration to you. That really warms my heart and you really touched me when you wrote what you did. I will be anxiously looking for updates from your angel! You deserve this sweetie. Do me a favor.. right before they give you the versed or whatever they will use to put you under... visualize yourself how you want to be.. visualize being happy, thin.. healthy and smiling. I was told to do that by someone on this site and my surgeon and my mom said I had a smile on my face when I was being wheeled away. Good luck to you sweetie!

Hi, Bonnie!! Just got back from a 45 minute power walk, something I would never have done before surgery! I feel wonderful. I wanted to keep walking and enjoying my newfound energy and loving the way my body feels! You, too, will be jumping for joy, doing cartwheels (albeit in your mind!)but, nonetheless, you will feel super! I am happy you will be in the hands of the best surgeons around here - Scott and delaTorre. God bless you!!!

~Hey Bonnie~ Just remember,Sweetie, You can't be the nurse AND the Patient at the same time...I'm wishing you the best care so you can concentrate on what you need to do. We nurses don't make the best patients...that's for sure! I hope to join you on the other side someday soon. GOD BLESS
