Today I am 1 year post-op. Happy re-birthday to me! I am so happy I took this GIANT step to have surgery. I have lost 112 lbs, I weigh 186. Never in a million years did I think I'd tell the whole world how much I weigh! I'm wearing between a 14 and 16, Large to XL. I'm 36 lbs from my goal of 150. My surgeon's goal was 180, but I think I can make it to mine. I'm one of the lucky ones that might disillusion some people out there...I had almost no complications. I very rarely throw-up, I'm never nauceous, and I don't dump on sugar unless I eat WAY too much. Anyway, thank you all for letting me share my journey with you. I'm not done yet though!

Becky, I would have told that guy in the pharmacy "If I were you I wouldn't be dispensing Medical Advice without knowing what you are talking about" and I would have walked away with my head held high. What a jerk! Lisa Marie

Becky, don't let what that pharmacist said get to you. He went to pharmacy school not smart talking school. lol You know a lot of men (not all guys) are pretty dumbfounded when it comes to knowing what to say and when to say it. You are doing fantastic! Don't let it get you to eating candy. Take care of you! I sure hope you told him NO. I had that happen to me at the beach. This sales moron says so when are you due? I said, DUE FOR WHAT? She said to have your baby. I said, I'm not pregnant, I'm just fat and my child is 8 months old thank you! Boy was her face red (and it wasn't sunburn)lol

Today I am exactly 9 months post-op. This is the best decision I have ever made for myself.<br>I also want to thank everyone who emailed me after my post yesterday. A few people said I should wait it out, but most everyone advised me to get a lawyer. I'm still not sure what I will do, but I will probably make a decision after my daughter's appointment at the Mayo Clinic. Thank you everyone for your support and prayers. I can't tell you all how much it means to me and my family. Thanks.
