Congratulations Lorraine, you've done Good Sister. 190 pounds gone in a year must make moving a lot easier. Hope you can get the rest of the loss you want. Like I keep reading from those who get off a plateau, "Go back to the Basics". Must be good advice since they usually seem to lose. You ARE an Inspiration. Thanks for all the posting on the BB, it's a big help for we pre-ops.

HAPPY FIRST ANNIVERSARY TO ME!! Dear AMOS Friends- 2-8-01 is the date.... I had an Open Duodenal Switch and I truly believe that WLS saved my life. Most of my medical problems are now minimal. The one thing I still cannot do is climb the stairs without stepping on each stair with both feet.Coming downstairs is harder still-most of this is arthritis related. I have lost 190pounds down from my all time high of 480. I would like to lose another 130. For the past 25 days, I have been on the mother of all plateaus. If I am here much longer, I'll have to decorate the plateau and make it my own. Thank you all for your stories and support of me and each other. I am very proud of every one of us; we are a brave group of people. May God hold us all in the hollow of His hand. Be well. Lorraine
