Joan, I have Dr. Halmi and I know he works with Dr. Anez. I see him out of their woodbridge office. I have done most of the test when I was approved. They aren't that bad. The only one I did not get done was the Pulmanary Function Test. Then I got the denial letter. So all went to a screetching halt. So you are on you way. Don't anyone get in your way. I had my second appointment with Maria, the Physician Assistant. Dr. Anez had an emergency so I have yet to meet him. I got my list of all the tests, etc. and have scheduled them all between now and the 24th of May. I hope that everything goes alright. I am so ready to have this surgery. My husband tells me not to get my hopes up because if something goes wrong I'll be hurt. Please everyone think good thoughts for me and June 4, I will be on my way to a real life.

My surgery is scheduled for 4 Jun 2003 at 11 o'clock at Fair Oaks Hospital. I was hoping for it to be sooner but maybe if I get all my testing done they might have a cancellation. I get to met with Dr. Anez on April 8. Will keep you posted.

Thanks for all of the kind words of encouragement. I need them all. Today I went to the foot doctor and had to have a soft cast put on because my feet are swelling so bad. Please add this one more thing to my list of reasons to get this surgery. I must admit I was hoping to hear about my surgery date today but didn't. Tomorrow is another day. Keep the kind thoughts coming.
