Well the day has arrived. Six months post op down 99 pounds yes that last pound in just hanging in there. I was so hoping for it to be gone this morning. I am still very proud of myself and I know I will get there soon. My life change has been so worth it, if I don't lose another pound I will be happy. I can now walk, my big girl wheelchair is collecting dust. I just wanted to be able to walk again and I have made that goal. If more comes that's okay too. I would do this again in a heart beat it has saved my life. Good luck to all those getting dates and those of you have to fight don't give up keep the faith it will be your day soon too.

Monday will be 23 weeks since surgery and I am almost at the 100 pounds lost. I have three weeks to go to lose 8 pounds. My life has changed so much. I just got back from WA where I flew from OK to there and then drove back with my daughter. I was so worried about the seat and I fit just fine and didn't have to have an extender for the seat belt and had room to tighter it up. I walked on the beach for two days picking up shells and sea glass. It was wonderful to walk again. My daughter picked me up at the airport. I have lost 50 pounds since I saw here last, she just looked right over me, I had to go walk up to her and stand in front of her to see me. She said on mom I didn't know you, you look so good, she almost cried. She just couldn't believe that I made it on the flight and didn't have any trouble with the walking and didn't have to ask for a wheelchair. Life is wonderful again. I can't believe I am almost in the century club. Thank you all for you support it means so much to me, this site is so great. And it feels good to be back home again.

Sharon - I just read your profile - you are doing so well and have so much to be proud of. I hope that you will only continue to get healthier and gain back your mobility in the weeks and months ahead! May God watch over you on your upcoming flight and work out all the details!

Sharon - Congratulations on your terrific weight loss! 72 pounds is amazing in 4 months! You should be so proud of yourself! Congratulations on being such a big loser! I wish you much continued success.

Sharon, just wanted to say thank you for being the first person to put a comment on my page. I am so happy. Anyways, I read your profile and you are doing great in your weight loss. Sorry to hear about your bottom. But isn't it nice to suffer from losing weight instead of suffering from gaining weight. New attitude thing, huh! Cool about your wheel chair. I hope you can eventually give it to someone in need of it someday. By the way you are a very very beautiful woman. Your picture is just fabulious. Take care and thanks again for taking the time to write me. My surgery date is 8/6 and I am so excited. I quit smoking yesterday and started working out to get my muscles in shape for being all cut up. Also, I am drinking lots of water now to get used to it and to help with the skin when I lose weight. *hugs*, Michelle Job
