Good Luck on your upcoming surgery. I used very little in the hospital. It would be a good idea to find out what you are provided by the hospital. I was at Bariatric Treatment Centers and they provided me with most things I needed. One thing for sure. Make sure you have a pill splitter/crusher for home. You will need it to make pills small enough to swallow. Best wishes.

Amy, Ok, I'm beating all the kids in the house to some computer time...which aint easy... lol...Just wanted to wish you the best of luck with your surgery. May it be uneventful and your recovery speedy. Just think, it really is going to be a whole "new" year. A happy, healthier, thinner one at that! Happy Holidays :o)

Hi Amy. Your post 'sounded' a bit nervous. I would be happy to support you during this perilous journey you are about to embark on. My name is Lori Ann. I had weight loss surgery on August 20th of this year (2002), I lost about 65 lb thus far (I only weigh in at the doctor's). I'm married, work full-time and have two children. I also live in Minnesota, but have driven through the State of IL many, many times---thus am somewhat familar with it. My parents' used to live about a 45 minute drive North of Chicago. Anyway, if you want my 'angel' services, just let me know! Sincerely, Lori Ann
