Just talked to Donna and DH and while all systems are go, she is so nauseau from that morphine that they have switched her pain meds and are holding off on the leak test until she might hold down the barium. However, her X-ray looked good and I know that once she gets the morphine out of her system she will be much more comfortable. Poor baby, but she is a tough one and will be fine soon.

I'm Donna's old roommate from Grammery Park when we were 19 & 20 yrs old (53 & 52 now!) and her angel. Her daughter called me at 6 am to say that Donna sailed through surgery in just over 3 hrs (she had an ovarian mass in addition to her WLS revision) and she is well. All Donna had to add was a happy smile as she pumped her morhine -- she keeps the pump IN her hand LOL. I'll be calling her soon and add any events. She'll be fine, I know, and she's booking tickets for us to the Bahamas as soon as she's lost about 50 lbs. Anybody wanna join us?

Dear Donna, I am right behind you on the 16th. I am having a LAP RNY. I was so excited but some of that is wearing off. I am beginning to get a little nervous. My daughter and son (32&28) both had surgery this summer. she had open heart and he for 2 broken ankles from wreck. I am ready to lie down in hospital and rest. The only thing I am concerned about is the pain. I am a baby. Anyway I will pray for you. Remember me Thursday, if you can think. I will look for updates. Love, Gena
