It is now April 6th and I am now about 4 1/2 months post op. I have, honestly, had the least complications of anyone I know of. I have not vomited a single time, my weight loss has been rapid, and I am feeling great. I have lost 102 lbs thus far. I have hit a plateau that has lasted several weeks. My main problem that I have been dealing with has been constipation. After a couple of months of trying to figure out the root of this very painful problem, I finally did. The protein supplement that I was drinking was the root cause. I have now cut it out and am trying to eat lots of tuna, chicken, eggs, and cheese to get the protein other ways. I cannot possibly fully convey the difference in how I feel. I am still considered morbidly obese (360+), but the energy that I feel and the dramatic decrease in pain that I feel are amazing.
