Cat, I am really sorry that you are having such a difficult time with your insurance company. Thank you for your wishes for me though. I was just offered a surgery date change to January 2nd but my husband's office needs more notice, darn! I had a difficult time getting my insurnace to pay for my psych. evaluation since my husband's insurance covers mental health. They wouldn't cover the appointment because it was for medical reasons. I went back and forth for about a month until the insurance finally paid for it. I saw the surgeon in the beginning of September and am just now having surgery in January. It will take time but I am certain that you will be approved. Just try to be patient and when you are dealing with your insurance representatives, try to be extra sweet with them because people don't respond to yelling and screaming. I know because I have tried both ways and succeed much faster with sweetness. Good luck!
