Julie - I read your post and I wanted to cheer you on with regards to your job interview. You sound like a great person, so whoever hires you will be lucky to have you! I also wanted to tell you that I had surgery a few days after you and guess what? I've been on a one month plateau too. Isn't that odd? Plus, according to my calculations, we've both lost the same amount of weight (give or take a few pounds). Anyway, I took a little comfort in knowing that I'm not alone, so I hope you will too. Good luck with your job search and weight loss.

Dear Julie, I'm very happy to read that you are doing much better. I read a lot of the members stories and I have to say that everybody has to strugle to get through these very bad times.It gives everyone a lot of strengh to hear that it's going to be all right at the end. Thank you.

Great profile, I'm still pre-op, hoping to be post-op in 2002. So sorry to hear you lost your Mother. I can't imagine how ahrd that must be. I'm sure she will see you thin & cheer in Heaven. I hope your stoma is still intact & just being difficult for awhile. Thanks for writing in such detail

Hi Julie. I just wanted to wish you God speed on your journey to a healthier life. My open RNY is scheduled for 10/31 in Cleveland, OH - the day after yours! So, we will be entering the new world together! Best of luck!!
