Well, its seven thirty here and I just called the hospital again. Sue is still in ICU and is still on the ventilator. I really had hoped she would be off of it so we could say hi to her. The nurse said that she is doing great though and that she will probably be taken off of it tomorrow and maybe moved to a regular room. I sure hope so !

called to check on Sue. They have not taken her off the ventilator. She has some secretions in her lungs that would make her wheezy if they took her off the ventilator. She will be staying in the ICU until at least tomorrow. We will check in on her again later.

Got a phone call this morning that Sue was being weaned off the ventilator and was going to be waking up in the next couple of hours. We will call and try to check on her around noon !

Sue's husband called after he got home and let me know that she was having a hard time waking up from surgery. They were going to keep her in ICU and let her sleep it off. I will check on her this morning and post again.

I missed the phone call, but Sue's husband called about an hour and a half ago and said that she was out of surgery and that everything went fine. Then I called the ICU and asked the nurse about her. She said she would be able to talk on the phone in about 3 hours, but that she was fine and she was sleeping right now.

3:30pm - I called the hospital in Minnesota and talked to Sue's mom. They said she did not get in at the time she was scheduled so she was not out of surgery yet. They promised to call as soon as she was done to let me know how everything went. I sure wish it was done now, I just want to hear that she is okay ! I will post again when they call me.

Sue left this morning for surgery. She had to report to the hospital at 9:00 in Minnesota. She was going to leave at 7:00. I can't wait to hear that its done and that everything went well. I will post as soon as I hear !
