Hi all .. i finally decided to get off my "butt" and come downstairs and log on my computer .. it was great recieving all the well wishes and thoughts from u guys while i was in the hospital before and after .. i thank u all so very very much .. i believe that our mind set can affect the things we do, either postively or negatively to a great degree - Carol and Zunia encouraged me before hand to focus on my end results, a healthy fit me, and i did, as hard as that was - well, i am telling u i smoothly thus far sailed through this - i think its a matter of relying on those that have been there and done that before u - Carol was there for me right before surgery literally to hold my hand, cry with me, comfort my kids and husband and to let me know, "see, i did it, i got results and so will u" she called me daily to check on my health and to make sure i was maintaining the right attitude and making sure i was focusing on my end results .. she is the personification of what the role of angel should be - she has such a loving, handsome giving husband .. it was amazing to see them together, he treats her like a queen! Zunia was her usual helpful and loving self toward me. She called everday to make sure i brushed my teeth, wasnt bothering the nurses, changed my gown, ate slowly, took my meds, slept, walked, breathed, coughed, didnt sneeze, wore lip gloss, deodorant, clean panties, my support stockings, didnt sleep too much, had enough water, a fan, wasnt in pain, iv's and epidural worked correctly, if husband was caring for the kids, if Carol called, if my phone was close enough, if my sheets were changed, if i got my period, and lastly, if i was being dismissed from the hospital on the day she felt i needed to leave .. lol - I love this girl so much!! On monday she called and said, "what are u still doing at the hospital", i said, "i am leaving, i am leaving", so i left!! these two wonderful girls have entered my life .. i wont let them go!!! if any of u are fortunate enough to have them as your angels, you will ACE this surgery !!!! Carol and Zunia, u are both as beautiful on the inside as u are on the outside - I cant thank u enough for your support!

Vanessa, I just want to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers and I wish you a very speedy recovery. I know you are glad you are already on the other side. I cannot wait to join you and I am scheduled for 9/18. Just remember the GOOD LORD is with us and all we have to do is call on HIM and He will answer our prayers. Good Luck.....^j^.....
