When I was 14 I had to get a dr's note to join weight watchers because I was overweight.
Since then have steadily gained more and more weight. And now i'm 300 lbs. (i'm 5'9" by the way)
It's so strange to write that, 300 lbs. I think only my doctor's know that. I think its because of mystery of the internet, no one really knows who you are.
Basically, i've got my surgery date scheduled, Dec. 18. I'm having the vertical sleeve gastrectomy.
I chose to have this surgery because for the last 6 to 7 years i've been dieting constantly with no success. I'm one of those people who just is not good at losing weight, as sad as it sounds.
So thats my story :)
