I can't wipe this BIG smile off of my face....I'm so excited...My surgery is scheduled for Friday, March 16th, 2007, and I am so EXCITED! My Dr. has only peformed approx. 4 lap band and per his staff with no complication so I feel good about that... Of course since I have this love relationship with GOD I know he will guide the Dr's hands and delivered me safely home with my family...Look out skinny girl store...I'm on my way....

Hi All,
Well my insurance company did give me a pre approval for Feb 20th. But additional information has been requested from my Dr's office. I spoke to my Dr's office and they told me the information was already submitted, and my surgery should be scheduled for the first week in March. So now it's just a waiting game.

Hi everybody,
After reading this site for over a year I have decide to post my Bio and have the Lap Band Surgery. Because of my Insurance I am requested to do several months of diet, several support groups, and a Psyc exam. I am now waiting for my surgery date. YAHOO! I am a wife and Mother of two son's (27, & 3 (Yes, I gave birth at 42.11 years of age ). My husband , family and trainor are very supportive of my decision. My husband is so wonderful, he told me he loves me the way I am! What a man! (Oh course he's 6'4 235 pounds, tall, dark and handsome) My baby sister also decided to have the Lap Band Surgery. We both choose two different Dr's. She chose the Bariatric Center in Langhorne, I chose Dr. Kirkland (Who has not performed many Lap Band procedures). My decision to have the surgery is a simple one. I want to live! So far I only have high blood pressure...But at 278 pounds at 5'5 how long will I live? The decision I have decided to make is a decision for life. Like everybody on this site, I am an expert at all diet, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Soup diet, etc, etc.....I come from a family of eight, two brothers and three sister, I am the oldest and we are all over wieght.. All of the females and male weight over 220 pounds including our parents. I believe I have the heavest one at almost 300 pounds. I have a happy life, I love my husband, children, and family. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and family to share my life with. I hope to be able to post my surgery date....Thanks for listening!
