Life :)

Sep 16, 2015

I cannot say enough how incredibly happy I am! I've been using my elliptical at home but for the first time since surgery I actually got to the gym yesterday, and I managed to do something I never would've been easily able to do at my highest weight...I walked a MILE no problems non stop, no slowing down!! I actually could've continued and went further, but I came with my cousin and aunt, so we went over and also did he 30 minute circuit. I am so incredibly proud of myself and am SO ready to be more active! I actually enjoyed working out yesterday, and it felt good to sweat! We also met with a trainer and he gave us a workout regime to follow the days we go (Mon, Tues, Thurs) I may go on Saturdays alone. Only problem I had to deal with when I got home were blisters on some toes and on the back of my ankle...anyone else dealt with this before and have any opinions/recommendations on what I should do? Aside from that and being completely wiped out, I felt AMAZING! And the fact that I easily walked that mile made me feel like I am seriously on top of the world! When I was at my heaviest (370) there is in no way I'd be able to do the things I'm doing now and I seriously thank god every day for this second chance at life. It's so worth it, and gets me so emotional every time I talk about it!

I hope everyone else is doing well out there! Xoxox
