I am so excited! I learned 2 days ago that my TT & lipo surgery has been approved and that I will be having my surgery on Dec. 27 2010!  I will be at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta!  Dr. Losken will perform the surgery! I am nervous and very excited at the same time! I have lost 109 pounds since ny surgery (Revision RNY) 2 years ago this Wednesday! I guess December is my month for surgeries! Please say a prayer for me as I move onto the next chapter of my weight loss journey!

Hello Everyone,

Hubby and I attended the Houston OH Event this past weekend! It was amazing and awesome! We learned so much new advice and met new friends! Texans are so nice! I was one of 2 who came from Georgia and everyone loved our "Southern" voices! My hubby and I toured Galveston, San Antonio, Houston and we loved them all! San Antonio was our favorite! We fell in love all over again with each other there! So romantic!
I was in the fashion show on Saturday and everyone made me feel like a DIVA! Great experience! I would like to personally thank Kim G. and her hard working family for pulling off a successful event! You guys ROCK! Hope that cruise idea happens! Debra, loved seeing you again and looking to more get together with you and George!

I have lost 109 pounds and feel great! Waiting on the plastic surgeon to get the "OK" to get things rolling! Christmas is just around corner and that would be a great present to myself!

I am pumped up by the event and will be revamping my OH Support Group, NWGASG! I really need to get it off the ground and get it hopping! We can all support each other! I need you all as much as you need my support! Let's get this together and plan lots of good things ahead!

  Cameron Marie Bryant was born on August 1, 2010! She is perfect and healthy! She weighed 8 lbs. and 4 oz. and is 21.5 inches long! Go to my profile and see her photos! We are so blessed and happ that she ad mommy are fine!

   Miss Cameron Marie Bryant was born on August 1st 2010. She weighed 8lbs. 4oz. and is 21.5 inches long! She looks just like her mama when she was born!  We are so blessed with her and give God all the glory for her and Caitlin's health! We plan on her calling me "Mama Jo"! She is one reason that I decided to have the RNY, now I can do what I wanted to do with my grand baby! Play in the floor, go for long walks, swim and snorkel with her for hours and hours! :)

Hello Everyone!

I can not believe it has been 4 months since I have posted or even talked to most of you!  I have so much to tell you all!

As of  4-28-10, I have lost a total of 100 pounds!  RNY was the best decision I have ever made for myself!

My oldest daughter, Caitlin, is due with my first grand baby, a princess, Cameron Marie Bryant on July 25Th! We are so excited!

As most of you know, I had left shoulder surgery on 12-8-09, well, that has NOT gone as well as expected! I am 5 months post-op and can just bearly us my left arm. I have had MRI"S, ultrasounds and cortisone shots NOTHING has worked. I have a very limited range of motion of that arm. I am going back to the surgeon next Wednesday after a month of celebrex. I have not noticed any changes being on this medication! SOOO, I am going to Emory University for an opinion! Wish me luck and pray for healing to happen to my shoulder.

Hello, Everyone!

While I have been recovering from my shoulder surgery, I have also been thinking aout how to jump start this on-line OH support group! We now have 32 members! That is AWESOME! I have decided that we need to use this site as a Q&A and a group support site. I am encouraging everyone to write questions and to use as a posting site! I will be posting a weekly question for us to use as a starter! I wil post the first question on March 15th at 10am!

We will still continue to have the on-line chat sessions but I have also decided to change the dates. Starting on the 15th of each month at 8pm e.s.t. we will have our group chat session. These are great sessions to ask questions, get to know your OH friends and to see what others are doing and going thru!

Please tell all of your friends about our on-lne support group! The more the merrier!

Hello, Everyone!

I am getting better everyday! I am going to physical therapy 2 times a week and it just really wears me out! This was the most painful surgery, I have every had and I have had my share of them! I am so thankful to have such a wonderful daughter and a very loving husband, they have been so helpful! I am still unable to sleep in the bed so the recliner is my friend right now!

I am so ready to get back to a "Normal" life! They are telling me it will be another 3-4 weeks til I will have full range of motion of my arm, I can make that!

I miss you all and want everyone to know that the on-line weekday support group meeting will start back on  February 2nd a 8 pm! The weekend on-line support group meeting will be on February 5th at 9am! Looking forward to chatting with each one of you!

Thank you for ail the "Get wells", e-mails, cards and calls! I thank God for blessing me with such great friends!

This Morgan Johnson, my mom, Amy jo Johnson is recovering from her Rotator Cuff surgery and she wanted me to type for her how she isdoing.

She got her stitches out, pain pump out and pain medication refilled this Tuesday! SHe is in alot of pain and has to stay in the recliner all day and night! She starts PT next Monday.

She wants to thank all of you for the thoughts and prayers! Thank you all. We will update after her PE class.

On-line meeting has been canceled due to Leaders surgery!  Amy Jo Johnson is at home recovering from Torn rota tor cuff repair! She is unable to type and will send an update later this week!  Thank you!

Tomorrow, I will be having my left rota-tor cuff repaired! It is a set back for me but the pain became unbearable for me! I am a very strong person and this has really gotten to me! Lack of sleep is no fun for 5 months! I need to be able to hold and play with my new grand baby this summer when it arrives, so here I am!  I will keep everyone posted as soon as I can. My daughter will be checking my messages and answering my messages for me! Keep my family and me in your thoughts and prayers!
