9/12/02: One year ago today I under-went orthoscopic surgery for a tear to my right knee. I never thought that one year after I would have the opportunity to restart my life. I just want to say thank you to everyone who writes or makes a posting to the board. You have helped me so much. I feel more comfortable discussing my problems with the friends that I've made on this website than with anyone else. You guys have never let me down, and I hope that in the coming weeks, I won't let you down either. Thank you for your words of encouragement, your stories, recipes and suggestions! I have a folder that I store them all in! I am at the point where I am waiting to be scheduled for my pre-op thorascopy at the Hospital of St. Raphael's. I admit that I am a little nervous, but I know that I will live through it. My surgery date is approaching faster than I can imagine...I can hardly wait. Hugs and Blessings to you all.
