Annette I really liked Dr. Pepper before surgery and I too had headaces when I tried stopping so I didn't stop I just drank less and then after surgery I had to deal with the headaches and the surgery aches. I know its hard (because I could not do it myself ha ha) but trust me when I say you would rather ween yourself off them now then go cold turkey afterwards and deal with it then.

Hey Annette! You think giving up Coke is bad....I've had my lovely dinner for this evening. Baby food squash! That is the most disgusting stufff I have ever eaten...I love regular squash! Thin I'll be glad that I'll be on pure liquids tomorrow...beats this stuff! Got to go and have my fleeting moments!!!! Dawn (the other Shock)

Having wls is a big decision to make.....You have made the right one. CONGRATS!!.. Heres to an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. It is the best thing I could have ever done for myself and I bet you'll feel the same way too. Remember small bites, chew like theres no tomorrow, get tons of H2O, and dont forget that protein! Happy re-Birthday!!!!

You wonderful, beautiful woman! 6 weeks girl! It's gonna go by much faster than you expect! I can't WAIT for it to happen to you...we're gonna be soo darn skinny together!!! hee hee hee. Then you can tell all the nay-sayers...na,na,na,na,na!! LOVE YOU HONEY! You're almost there!!!

Annette...time is sure flying by now isn't it? I have 25 days left...hopefully. I'll be doing my final pre-op testing done this Wed. with the doctors appt. on Thurs. Will know then for sure if 3/21/03 is a go. Don't think there will be any hidden reason not have have surgery. Have been visiting my PCP every 3 months for years. Are you looking forward to summer as much as I am? My parents will be staying at a campgrounds with a huge built in pool for the summer...you know where I'll be. We don't live very far from Lake Erie either. Hey, take care and hope your time will fly!!!!!! The other Shock, Dawn
