I met with my surgeon yesterday and she sent me for a stat CAT scan to rule out colitis and a incisional hernia. It was horrible drinking the barium. I have NEVER felt that bloated in my life. Last night I had the worst gas and gas pains and cramping ever!! Thank God when I woke up it was magically gone! It is amazing. The doc called this morning with great news! The CT was clear on all accounts, with the acception of some fluid built up under a port site she said. (Where ever that is. I am assuming it is where I am having the pain). She said to keep taking the narcotics and the pain will heal. So now it is a waiting game. At least I found that the percocet works better then the vicoden. I am finally comfortable. The doc did poo poo me on not getting all my fluids and protein in. And I did walk in with an Iced coffee. She didn't like that, lol. So I got my little lecture. She asked me what else I wasn't following. She wants me to walk an hour or two miles a day. Good luck! But I will try my damnist. Once my fiance gets his tax return, We are getting a gym membership. Hopefully he gets it before the end of the month because there is a special, up to 3 household members for 34.99 a month.
