Dear S, I too 9 years ago helped my daughter make a life altering decision. She was young, and we did what we thought best at the time. She now has the most perfect 4 year old daughter. Sometimes I also wonder just for a split second what might have been......but it's only for a second. I believe we do the best we can at that moment and go on from there. We are not perfect but we can grow and learn from our daily decisions. I wish you peace.

Hey Girly, girl! I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that you are not alone. How to put this in words... It seems that sometimes we are forced to make life deciding decisions when we are the least prepared for them. I am the mother of 3 daughters now... my oldest... her I don't talk right now. Hopefully that will change sometime down the line. She is 19 and had my first grandchild in September. My soon to be 15 yr old is great. She has things tough at times as her dad and I split up before she was 2 years old. I have since re-married and have an 8 yr old. Things aren't always easy but we do alright and have lots of fun. I guess I just wanted to give you big hugs <<<<<HUG>>>>> and things will get better. Good luck with your PS stuff. Later!

Absolutely no bashing from me. I'm sorry that today is such a difficult "anniversary" for you. Obviously you did what you had to do, and I understand the questions you find yourself asking yourself today. Take the time to reflect on what might have been, to grieve, and then try to let go of it again. That's all any of us can do when confronted with the anniversary of something we might wish could have been otherwise. Take care of you, and please don't beat yourself up. *hugs*
