Hello all--today I am 3 months post op...it is amazing how much my life has changed for the better in just 3 short months. I have lost 71lbs, gone from a tight 30/32 to a loose 22/24 and have tons of energy. I only take 2 meds and my vitamins instead of 6 meds a day. I still need my cpap, but that will be gone be for long too. I am so thankful for this tool and the new life I have ahead of me since I became a loser.

To everyone out there in AMOS land I wish you many blessing no matter where you are in your journey. Remember to always be proactive because what you are doing is for yourself and to maintain a positive attitude even if you hit a roadblock. ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!!!!
Maureen in TX RNY 6/23/03 (348/271

Hi Maureen, You are doing great with your surgery. Things will get much better. I am almost 3 months out (Next week will be 3 months) and I have lost 71 pounds so far. I started out at 329. I am now down to 258. Started in a size 32. I am now a size 24!!!! You will have fabulous results. It seemed like once I hit 6 weeks it got a whole lot easier. I do not feel deprived anymore, no more head hunger, and I don't even crave the food I am not supposed to have. I feel like I eat anything I want (except sugar, high fats and high carbs...I just dont want any of it). The weight is just melting off of me, and it will do the same for you. Before you know it, you will be down below 250!!! This will make your life so much more enjoyable and you will have so much more energy....Good Luck, and congratulations on the start of your "New" life!!
