After seeing so many people loose with the by pass surgery, I decided to do some research of my own.  I called my family Dr and asked him to refer to to a bariatric doctor.  I attended the seminar yesterday Aug 22,2007 and I'm sold.  It was such a positive experience and I'm ready to make the committment. I'm currently scheduled for my consultation on Sept 4th.  Any information or words of advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.  I just learned about this site yesterday at my seminar.  I think from the seminar I'll be more interested in the Lap band.  If you are along the same stages as myself please respond back.
