and what a wonderful road it has been!  Life is so different now....I actually forgot it was my anniversary...I spend most weekends laying on the beach...something I would have NEVER done three years ago! 

I can't believe 15 months has gone by since I posted on here...LIFE has truly been very busy!  I am currently 17 pounds from goal...and let me tell you .. every day is a battle!  I promise I will never go back to the old habits again...but damn those bakeries are all over!?!  I may not post often....but I do lurk and read all the success stories..they keep me motivated!

The Holidays.......how much I used to hate them..why..because I had to go shopping.........couldn't handle all the walking....all the people....the crowds were rough....I was so big...it was hard to get in and out of places..

and now.....move over Santa............

May 2009 be full of wonderful WOW moments...and good health!

So...who would have thought 45 would feel this good?  I never imagined life would be this fun as I approach my 5th decade...but this process I have been going through...not just the surgery...but the gym...the support groups...the boards..the folks here..have all help me to evolve into this person..who runs with confidence....

I feel better than I did at 30....weigh less than I did the day I graduated high school....and LOVE life!

I never thought I would be looking forward to the winter clothes box...pull it out yesterday and NOTHING FITS!  What a wonderful feeling!

Today I am going to the beach....I can do this....be in public in a bathing suit...right?

I have had three people tell me I look great today!  so I had to post a new photo...finally under 240...it took a month of little ups and downs..but the second the cardiologist cleared me to start exercising...I hit the gym...and I think my metabolism is working again!   so close and yet so far!

let me tell you how difficult the last 24 hours have been....I have a colonospy in 4 hours...and I am up at 4AM to drink the second half of the yummy stuff one must drink to "cleanse"  YUCK!  I have been having some pain due to diverticulosis...a condition that is heredity and would have happened with or without RNY...but nonetheless is a complication I did not plan on...hopefully the only negative news today will be the number on the scale after all this dumping!

I can't believe I have only 80.2 pounds to go....amazing grace!  GUESS WHAT, YESTERDAY I RAN....YES RAN...ON THE TREADMILL!!!!!!!!!!

LIFE IS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WELL...it has happened, I did not lose weight this week.  I attend TOPS every Wednesday -- for moral support and much needed guidance--and for the first time in 35 weeks--after losing 138 pounds, I did not lose weight this week, I turtled!  This means I did not gain or lose--it was still difficult!  I have been really pushing my self to work out every day--either walking or at the gym--I guess I thought I could go all the way to my goal weight without a gain...not to worry...I am far from giving up...it is a good thing...now I know I have to work hard to change the outside!
