I can not believe it was 7 months ago yesterday that I had surgery!  

I had a recent medical emergency...boy was I scared, I had so severe lower abdominal pain, thought for sure it was related to my bypass...but atlast the only thing I can blame is genetics..I apparently have diverticulosis--and let me tell you...my surgeon was amazing..he called the Emergency Room right back...and confirm with the doctor on call--after the CAT scan confirmed the diagnosis I was sent home with medicines...and this moring Dr. Bell called, we discussed what happened...what could happen in the future and the fact that he was there if I needed him.  He is an amazing surgeon! 

so I am going to take a nap and relax!

down over 130 pounds now...and loving it!

I can't believe how fast time flies!  I had my 6 month check up with Dr. Bell-he spent a significant amount of time with me discussing LIFE, which surprized and impressed me!  I am down 128 pounds as of this weeks weigh in and I feel GREAT!!  I am going to the gym every other day--and I can actually talk to my neice while we run on the treadmil!!!  I am still having a difficult time with that eliptical thingy--I feel like I am going to fall off--but I spend a least an hour working my butt off literally!  I got my hair cut short to help with the hair loss--and that combined with Biotin has done wonders for my confidence!  I am planning a trip in April--actually planning to go some where, other than my living room--amazing grace!

I completely enjoy reading others stories, and find great strenght in sharing with those in need! 

I am blessed!  

Christmas and New Years was a JOY!  I purchased a new outfit to wear to a semi-formal dance and loved the reaction to my new size!  I continue to visit the gym two to three nights a week--but have a very difficult time getting the fluids in....

I can't remember when I looked forward to so much!  I am working out three nights a week at the gym...and have never felt better!  I know I have a long way to go...but I am almost half way there!

I can't remember the last time I felt like shopping after a 10 hour day at work...but let me tell you how much fun it was to shop!!!  To walk around the store and shop!

even brought myself a 100 pound gone gift!

if anyone told me in advance, how wonderful I would feel at my 90 day marker, I would have done this years ago!  I am not sure why I was afraid five years ago, when insurance covered this procedure without a fight, but I am so glad I fought the fight!  My health has improved immensely!  I love walking and cleaning and shopping...all the things I could not do at 57.9 BMI!  and now at 48 BMI, I look forward to getting up each and every day!

can't wait to see what 120 days will look like!

and he gave me a shot in my heel to eliiminate the pain...he does not think that I have a bone spur, but rather have pulled a tendion due to the excessive exercise...excessive???  considering two months ago I could not walk from the house to the car without losing my breathe, twice around the track four nights a week is excessive!

I can't believe it has been two months since surgery!  I feel excellent!  I am 62 pounds lighter today...WOOO HOOO

I am seeing my primary care doctor today, as I have a pain in my heel, everyone is telling me it is a bone spur, and a shot will take care of it, but I have to do something, because I need to walk!!!  

I am also almost ready to go to the gym with my daughter, she would have taken me 62 pounds ago, but I wanted to be sure I could walk a flight of stairs without getting winded...and now I CAN!!!

I still have not figured out how to get my ticker on this site...HELP
