Pre ops complete

Nov 12, 2012

So everything is totally complete and ready to go! All of my pre ops are complete! Upper GI swallow, Endoscopy, chest x-rays, blood work X2, complete ultra sound of all organs, pre op class, pre op hospital interview. I have purchased three different kinds of protein drinks as your taste drastically changes after the procedure. i have all my chewable vitamins as well. I have set up my room at home with a big cushy chair and set up a TV so I'm not out in the living room. I have my ride set and my family has the time off to come down to hospital on Monday. I cant wait to get this done, so excited! I know what to do this time instead of trying to do it my way and failing i will use every tool available to me to make this a permanent solution! Thanks to Dr. Billy and his entire staff it has been an amazing experience so far.

Revision Update

Nov 04, 2012

Surgery is now Scheduled for the 19th of November. I will be having a full revision and not a lap over bypass. I see three RN's today to go over the all pre op procedures. I am so looking forward to completing this step now that i am much more educated on what to do after the surgery unlike the prior were i did not use all the tools that i had available to me. this time i will be listening and learning and more importantly doing what i am asked to do as i do not know it all and could never know everything. I will post again before the procedure.

Update

Sep 07, 2012

So all the pre ops are done and it looks like i have a Hialtial hernia and a mild stitcher on the lower part of my stomach. I see the sleep doctor on the 11th and also see the nutristionist on the 11th and then have the final consult with Dr. Billy on the 28th of Sep. We will see what he wants to do? Not sure which procedure he will want to do? I look forward to the procedure and i know what not to do this time. Such as no Soda and no chewing gum. Listen to myself and dont force trying to eat more than i should because i want to feel full.

Revision

Jul 09, 2012

Well its been a while since i posted here but looks like i will be having a revision in either august or september. I did some things wrong after like chewing gum drinking soda forcing food to make me feel normal when all it did was make me gain weight. I have put on about 65lbs and dont want to keep going. I do have some pain when i eat in the lower region of my stomach but hopefully that will be fixed soon with the revision. Dr. Billy will doing the procedure. I see him on July 27th. Can't wait, i want the rest of this weight off!!!!
