Oh my Goodness...I can't believe I am back. I have missed you all terribly. <br> I want to thank those of you who are not my angels and took the time to call the hospital and post on my updates. <br> I did come home on Saturday and planned and things are going as expected. I am feeling much better today and obviously sore around the middle. I am only having to take my pain medication about 3 times per day and one of them being bed time. I am sick and tired of clear liquids and anxious to switch over to full liquids on Wednesday. <br> Jay has been an absolute angel the whole time I was in the hospital and since. He is there at my beckon call. The only thing I remember really of my first 2 days post-op was saying "Hurt, Hurt, Hurt" but once the PCA pump was on and going things were all better from there. <br> I am walking on the treadmill....granted at a slow stoll...about 3-4 times per day for 10 min each. I was able to get in about 35 ounces today. Which is a good for me. And my scales say I have lost 15 pounds so far. We shall see for real when I go back to the doc on the 19th of this month. <br> Thanks CHANDA, DEANNA SHOEMAKER, and BARB for calling me at home a checking on me frequently. You all are so awesome. Well, I am getting tired...I'll be back soon.

Brenda, Thank you for calling me tonight! I really enjoyed hearing from you. I am glad you are doing well and do not need the pain med. very much! I am soooo proud of you for walking on the tread mill soooo soon! You are so informed about this and I know you will do great! Call if you need anything!

Dear Brenda~~~~Congratulations on getting to go home-I hope you are comfortable and following your own advice. Baby yourself, please; take things slowly. I am going through Brenda Singer daily postings withdrawal. Can't wait to see you back on the Message Board. ANGEL COMING IN FOR A LATE LANDING~~~Brenda is home and feeling a little weak. She is having a hard time getting all of her fluids in. She is up and walking on the treadmill and is hoping to check in on Wed. So keep your eyes open she'll be back posting with is soon. Good luck to everyone. What a blessing this site is to all of us. I am not one of Brenda's angels, but I spoke with Brenda's husband earlier today (Saturday) and they were on their way home from the hospital. Welcome to the other side Brenda! I know you will do great!!

Hey guys I am not one of brendas angels but I havent seen them post soooo I am gonna ask all of you to go to her surgery page and welcome her to the other side! Last I knew she thought she was gonna come home today. If one of her angels know can you please let us know!! thanks :) Judi Hebb
