Kendra's (KS4) daughter has a brain tumor.

Oct 15, 2009

Hello All,
I wanted to let everyone know that Kendra's daughter, Alaina, 3-years old was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.  On August 7 surgeons at Children’s
Hospital of Boston, removed a large tumor from Alaina’s brain. Since then, her mother, Kendra, has spent every day at the hospital helping Alaina through the surgical recovery and post-surgical chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Her father, Mike, is home recovering from injuries sustained in a serious motorcycle accident last May. Mike is unable to work, or even to drive to visit Alaina in the hospital. During his convalescence, Mike lost his job and the health insurance that would help pay for his care and Alaina’s cancer treatments. The Salafia family desperately needs our emotional support, as well as our financial assistance with their mounting household and medical bills.
