"I first heard about Dr. Selwyn at a support group meeting up in Woodruff/Minocqua from some of the people at the meeting. I first met him in Rhinelander at one of his seminars, he does a lot of them. He seemed very confident in his abilities right from the start. I met with him a couple of times before surgery and he reassures you that he will do everything possible on his end to make this surgery very positive for you. He will also explain that you need to do your job and together the surgery can be a huge success. I had surgery on Dec. 3 2008 and I am now 6 weeks post opt and have had no complications and vey successful weight loss. The staff in the hospital was great, and the staff for the follow up appts. has also been great. Overall I was very happy with Dr. Selwyn and the hospital. I think he is one of the most knowledgable bariatric surgeons in the state and that makes you feel so much more confident when having the surgery. I am glad I chose him as my doc. "
