On Thursday, March 14th I had my sleeve surgery.  I'm doing well....every day gets better!

I will be having my sleeve on Thursday, March 14th!!!!!! 

It seems like time just flew by.  I have already met all my requirements for surgery and just got my insurance approval.  It won't be long now.  I will see my surgeon on March 1st, 2013 and get a surgery date.  It seems like just yesterday that I started this whole process, and now I am nearing surgery day.  These next few weeks I am taking the final steps in preparing for surgery.  I have stocked up on the necessary vitamins, medications, equipment and food.  Now to wait patiently for the next step.  Surgery!! 

I met with a nurse today to go over the steps of having weight loss surgery.  I have chosen to have the Sleeve due to my medical issues this is the best choice for me.  I have my checklist and I'm wasting no time to get right to it.  My first goal is to wean myself off diet pop and start drinking more water.  I see the dietician in 2 weeks!  My husband will be joining me on this journey and is having his nurse appointment tomorrow.  It is nice that we can give each other support and encouragement.
