i cant believe it

If you would have told me, that in just a week & 2 days, that I could lose 11 pounds, I would NOT have believed it! I am feeling so much better. I have so much more energy! My stomach doesn't hurt nearly as much. Who knew that eating healthy could be so... healthy! I have always loved these foods that I have been eating the last week or so, I guess it was always just so much easier to go out to eat or grab a bag of chips instead.
I am so happy with my decision to start eating better. There really wasn't a way around it because I knew I had to lose 26 pounds to have my surgery. In doing so, though, I feel so much better already. If I have lost this much in just barely over a week, I don't think I will have a problem losing the rest in 4 more.

i've been trying really hard to up my water intake these last few days. normally i do about 3 or 4 glasses. today so far, i have already had 7! i don't drink anything but water, so i really need to drink more of it so i can stay healthy & hydrated!
Also, my parents bought me a Striiv fitness band! its kinda like a fitbit. It tracks my steps, calories burned, how many miles I've walked. I think its gonna really keep me motivated to keep moving & things.

I am feeling pretty good about myself today. I absolutely LOVE chinese food. My coworker was getting ready to go out to lunch & said, "I dont want to tempt you, but I dont want to be rude & not offer either. Im going to pick up Chinese for lunch if you want some." I actually said NO! Can you believe it?? Plus, someone brought cinnamon rolls to the office too. Theyre literally like... 5 feet away from my desk, but I will NOT give in to the craving! :)

I hopped on the scale this morning & I have lost another 2 pounds! That makes a total of 6! :) I WILL get this weight off so I can have this surgery done!

Last week, I finally got my surgery scheduled! I need to lose 20 pounds between now and May 19 in order to have the surgery done. My surgery is scheduled for May 26. I feel like this process has taken forever! It is crazy to think that it is so close now! I have been going through the before & after photos on here, & boy, it is making me that much more excited! I can't wait to be healthy again! I weighed in about a week ago at an all time high of 323 pounds. I started my diet 4 days ago & I weighed myself this morning & I am already down to 319.
When I first met my surgeon in October 2014, he told me he didn't want me to gain any weight. He said 5 pounds is about the max they would want us to gain. I weighed 297 when they weighed me in the office. I would at least like to get back down to 300, but if I could get even below what they weighed me in at, that would be awesome! I am really trying to contain my excitement!
I have been trying to do low carb. I eat egg beaters for breakfast, a protein shake for lunch, & grilled chicken for dinner. I am snacking on fruits, veggies, & cheese. Lots of protein, hardly any carbs & lots of water! I doubt anyone will even see this since I only have 1 friend on here, but I just needed to post on here!
