"My first impression of Dr Chlsta was that he seemed genuinly concerned about my issues. He answered every question I had, and even explained why I needed to go through 6 months of medically supervised weight loss with my PCP. At first I thought, this is a bunch of crap, I wanted my surgery NOW. In the past 4 months, I have learned why this is so imprtant to WLS patients. I need to understand this is a life change. I needed to realize I have to change my eating habits, what I eat and how much of it I eat. I have since met with every member of his staff, Kim, Kelli, Kathy, Dr Gilbertson, and Nicole. These people are just as wonderful as Dr Chlysta. They make sure I am staying on track and are there for patients every step of the way. I am hoping to have surgery in March and I know that Dr Chlysta and his staff are the perfect group to help me reach my goal."
