18th month post op...

Jun 15, 2013

It's hard to believe that I have reached my 18th month. I am loving my life because I am know able to live instead of just existing. I still have a long way to go but look at where I came from. 589 lbs, on oxygen 24 hrs a day, congestive heart failure, severe sleep apnea, pulmonary hypertension, borderline diabetic, and lymphedema and I was only 36 years old. Today I am 330 lbs, have not used my oxygen in over a year, no longer sleep on a Cpap, my A1c has been in the normal range 3 weeks after surgery, and I'm LIVING!!!! What more could I ask for. I am loving my life and the tool that made it possible for me to live. Keep up the good work all and as always see ya on the losers bench
